The name Guantanamera should be quite easy to recognize for most people. It comes from the title of a famous song by the Cuban composer, Joseito Fernández in 1928. This was a very popular song around the world, especially during its push in the 1960s. As for the age of the brand, this is a fairly young cigar label, as it was only introduced to the world in 2002. Instead, Guantanmera cigars get their tobacco from Vuelta Arriba, the second most important tobacco region. Each vitola in the line is known as "machining", which simply means they are machine-made.

Guantanamera Cristales are packed in rigid cardboard boxes and plastic tubes. The ring indicator is 41 and the length is 150 mm. This is a fairly rough cigar, lots of medium veins along with lots of bumps and folds in the wrapper. The lid is pre-cut, but it looks like I only had one layer on it.  The foot seems to have some gaps in the filling, not too tight.  The smoke coming out of the Guantanamera Cristales is very light. The smoke coming out of the Guantanamera Cristales is very light. The ash is pretty clean, a little messy, but not flaking. What I got from this cigar is that it's soft and very one-dimensional. For anyone who's had some good cigars in their day.
