The name Guantanamera should be quite easy to recognize for most people. It comes from the title of a famous song by the Cuban composer, Joseito Fernández in 1928. This was a very popular song around the world, especially during its push in the 1960s. As for the age of the brand, this is a fairly young cigar label, as it was only introduced to the world in 2002. Instead, Guantanmera cigars get their tobacco from Vuelta Arriba, the second most important tobacco region. Each vitola in the line is known as "machining", which simply means they are machine-made.
VEGUEROS TAPADOS...
Vegueros Tapados is a perfect short or a morning smoke with a nice and pleasant but not overpowering or complex attitude. The Cohiba Siglo IV is part of Cohiba's Siglo cigar collection that celebrates the 500th anniversary of the discovery of Cuba. This Corona Gorda from Cohiba is the most accomplished Habano of its series. It is the one that has lost the least potency relative to Cohiba's traditional cigars and the one that best represents the new line of cigars that is receiving the highest praise among heavy gauge enthusiasts in all markets.

The Hoyo de San Juan from Hoyo de Monterrey is a flavorful geniales. Released at the 2014 Habanos Festival, this big ring gauge cigar is reminiscent of the old brand, but with a modern twist that appeal to many big ring gauges aficionados. It sports a new band which reads “Serie Le Hoyo” but as any Hoyo de Monterrey, it is hand rolled only using tobacco from San Juan y Martínez district, where the brand was born in 1865. Montecristo No.3 is a very good choice for an afternoon cigar, and both attract both beginners and experienced smokers. Pure very creamy, offering beautiful earthy and woody flavors. Great potential for aging.2-5 years recommended for even more complex and creamy smoke. This cigar is simply too underrated and deserves more attention.
