Havana Club Añejo 15 is a limited edition for passionate connoisseurs who know how to appreciate a rare and luxurious Cuban rum. It is made by mixing and aging an exquisite selection of rums and spirits. This aging, in oak barrels, gives the rum its complex and powerful flavors, releasing olfactory and gustatory nuances that give it a unique smoothness. It is a clear, bright and full-bodied liquid, enhanced by a mahogany color. The aromas of nuts, plums and raisins stand out with some notes of oak. This is an admirable Hermoso, complex and very gratifying. It gets even better when aged for 2 to 3 years. Its full of traditional Cuban flavors, dominated by spicy and leathery aromas. Creamy yet complex. Goes along very well with coffee. Its a real gem. Not sure why it isnt more renowned. A great value for the price.
There is no current regular production vitola with the same size as the Tacos for the Romeo y Julieta brand, but that is not to say that it has not existed. In fact, a press release sent by Habanos S.A. when the Tacos was released indicated that it is a “vitola that has been reclaimed from the 1970s,” and referenced a cigar dubbed the Tacos Imperiales.
