Tributo was created by three generations of Cuban rum masters, among them Don José Navarro, the first Cuban rum master; Asbel Morales, master of Cuban rum; and Salomé Alemán, the first and only female teacher of Cuban rum. Each master selected a rare and extra-aged rum base that was deemed representative of their individual styles, which were first matured in the 1970s, 1990s and 2010. These were blended with a rum that has been matured by more than 25 years in French oak barrels.
