The H.Upmann Magnum 54, a 2016 version but with a very complex and elegant smoke. Although it is still a young cigar, it shows a perfect construction with a lot of complexity. Great potential for aging.  A perfect cigar for casual and experienced smokers, ideal for afternoon or before dinner smoke.

The quality of tobacco is exceptional, as Jaime Partagás was a great innovator and concentrated meticulously on techniques to improve production, especially in the area of fermentation.

Vegueros Entretiempos is a perfect petit robusto with a nice and pleasant but not overpowering or complex attitude. This Mild to medium cigar with herbal and grassy aromas make for a chilled smoke and a nice change from the Cuban powerhouses. The Entretiempos, is a Petit Edmundo, a shorter robusto size. The Rafael Gonzalez Perlas is a Cuban beauty, a medium-full bodied Petit Corona. One of the most recent cigars of the Rafael Gonzalez lineup, (released in 2011), and is a pretty short smoke, perfect for a morning break. Its construction is great; it's perfectly rolled and feels nice between the fingers. It smokes beautifully, rather slowly and has a nice creamy profile but also develops some powerful woody aromas. There are also some creamy aromas, some coffee, some spices from pepper and some berries touches. The finish is long, with vanilla and some floral aftertaste. Overall, it is a great little smoke that can age very well and evolve into an even more mellow profile

This is an admirable Hermoso, complex and very gratifying. It gets even better when aged for 2 to 3 years. Its full of traditional Cuban flavors, dominated by spicy and leathery aromas. Creamy yet complex. Goes along very well with coffee. Its a real gem. Not sure why it isnt more renowned. A great value for the price.

The La Flor De Cano Petit Coronas is a mild and affordable Habanos. After being machine made until 2002, it is now fully hand rolled using short filler from tobacco blend from both Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta regions. It comes in a beautiful cedar sleeve that enhances the ageing process. It is a mild cigar, that is perfect as a morning smoke and which is a great entry smoke for a beginner. It is not too strong, but almost a medium smoke when reaching the nub of the cigar. It’s great price to quality ratio, the stogie smokes very well.
