What differentiates the BHK 52 from the other cigars from Cohiba is that the leaves used for the filler are already aged, and as a result this cigar doesn’t require aging to reveal such an exceptional taste and character. The main aromas developed by this cigar are of creamy coffee and of rich earthy flavors, which are reminiscent of well-aged cigars. Unsurprisingly, the price of this jewel is high; however, the BHK 52 lives up to its reputation and is worth every penny. This is indeed a unique cigar, and a very rewarding experience that will delight the true Cuban aficionado.
The Cohiba Siglo I Cigar claims the title of the smallest Cohiba cigar of all. This is another addition to the Cohiba Siglo collection – created to celebrate the 500th anniversary of discovery of Cuba. The Siglo I sports a Perla vitola – measuring at 102mm with a 40 ring gauge. So, it’s certainly a smaller smoke for you. Although it may be short in size, it’s by no means short in flavour – it delivers a medium-full bodied smoke. Containing earthy notes of cedar and barnyard – with distinct leather aromas.
The Bucket of Safe-Tie is a roofing kit built for the roofer, by the roofer. It is one of those few kits that includes a lifeline with an integrated shock absorber, which allows the worker to never have to worry about incorporating an additional shock absorbing lanyard into their fall protection system.
It is the first maduro cigar from Partagas. Medium to full smoke with a leathery, spicy and chocolatey profile. A complex cigar that remains smooth from start to finish, no harshness and ample sweetness as well. A delicious smoke after dinner smoke that should age beautifully.
The Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchills Cigar is the third cigar in the Romeo y Julieta line to be named after Winston Churchill, it certainly lives up to its sibling's name. The Montesco vitola is the brand's largest ring gauge. This little Mareva, or Petit Corona, is made with the best tobacco from Vuelta Abajo. The second century invites you to smoke, tender to the touch and very attractive to the nose. An occasional resistance on the initial drawing quickly leads to a constant burn. Cohiba's white pepper and herbaceous qualities are clearly evident in the first half of the smoke. The second and third levels release cocoa and vanilla grain on the palate through an impressively thick smoke. This Petit Corona is a great exercise for the palate and a true example of Cohiba's "blend master's" diligence.
The Jose L. Piedra Petit Cazadores is a enjoyable and tasty Petit Corona. A pleasant medium flavored smoke for a good price. Ideal for a casual smoke such as a game of golf or some other outdoor activity. The Cazadores is a good cigar, not too strong, that burns fine.
The H.Upmann No.2 is one of Cuba's most popular vitola, a delicious medium Pyramid. It is right up there with the Montecristo No.2. However the flavors are very recognizable as H.Upmann, but the pointy shape of this cigar gives a smoke that is unique in this brand. Very clean taste, no harshness, and medium body give for a perfectly rounded smoke. A cigar that will become even more popular with time. A Pre-1960 release.
