A wonderful cigar that contains all the typical flavors of Montecristo in 20 minutes of smoking. Contrary to popular belief in fine cigars, it is as creamy as it seems. Pure ideal for fast smoking after breakfast. A little cigar that will also delight newcomers to Cuban cigars.
Le Hoyo de Rio Seco joins the Le Hoyo Series after the incorporation of the Le Hoyo de San Juan vitola, which continues to enrich this historic line and the range in larger sizes, little present in the brand until now. The dry, flown and light leaves that make up the Hoyo de Monterrey blend of mild flavor come exclusively from the San Juan y Martínez Tobacco District * (D.O.P.) giving continuity to the fortress that was inaugurated with the Le Hoyo de San Juan vitola. With this new vitola, the elaboration of Habanos ligands with characteristics of each of the Cuban Denominations of Origin is further deepened. This strength that provides consistency and intensity is typical of the soils of this area.
The Vegas Robaina Unicos is an astonishing and complex medium-full Pyramid. What a noble pyramid cigar! Maybe the best Torpedo cigar out of Cuba, the Unico from Vegas Robaina is a real Habano that provides the closest experience of being in Cuba. A very rich cigar that has a very neat construction and an awesome balance of aromas. The taste is very typical of Vegas Robaina puros: smooth yet vibrant with a pinch roasted coffee. Goes along well with aged spirits.

The Hoyo de Monterrey Hoyo Du Prince is a sweet and mild Corona. The Le Hoyo Series was created apart from the Hoyo de Monterrey line, this explains the difference in names and shapes of the cigars. The Le Hoyo cigars are thinner and they are slightly stronger than the regular Hoyo de Monterrey. The Hoyo du Prince hovers around a mild to medium, which main aromas are of wood, earth and leather. There is a lot of sweetness in the aromas, lots of creaminess, some honey, some nuts, and some fruit notes also add to the richness. The spices are also always present, but never too strongly, just a tingle on the lips. Overall a mild and rich cigar, perfect for a morning cigar. Pretty affordable. A cigar that ages very well, 2 years of ageing are recommended.
All the Habanos of this special production are "Totalmente a Mano tripa larga" -Totally handmade with long filler- by skillful torcedores. Excellent flavor, full of tobacco, leather and coffee. The Hoyo de Monterrey Double Coronas is a subtle Cuban cigar, a light-medium Prominente. For some, they say this is the best cigar in the world. This Double Corona has already confirmed its rank in the marketplace: it's a great smoke. The only complain that could be made about this cigar come from very seasoned aficionados who would say it might not be strong enough. As all vitolas from Hoyo de Monterrey this Doble Coronas (Double Coronas) is extremely well constructed. It has a smooth oily wrapper, a good draw and strong aromas. Every modern Habano has somehow been influenced by this amazing cigar, but it is in a league of its own. It is softer in touch and creamier than the Partagas Lusitanias and the Double Coronas from Punch, it appears also bigger when in hand.
