Le Hoyo de Rio Seco joins the Le Hoyo Series after the incorporation of the Le Hoyo de San Juan vitola, which continues to enrich this historic line and the range in larger sizes, little present in the brand until now. The dry, flown and light leaves that make up the Hoyo de Monterrey blend of mild flavor come exclusively from the San Juan y Martínez Tobacco District * (D.O.P.) giving continuity to the fortress that was inaugurated with the Le Hoyo de San Juan vitola. With this new vitola, the elaboration of Habanos ligands with characteristics of each of the Cuban Denominations of Origin is further deepened. This strength that provides consistency and intensity is typical of the soils of this area.
Cohiba Coronas Especiales has a perfect balance between strength and scents. Endowed with many qualities similar to those of Lanceros, an elegant and tight shape and a touch of floral flavors, this cigar is smoother than the great Panetela, making it more accessible to the intermediate and beginner smoker. The cluster has a sophisticated blend of medium layer tobacco with stronger spicy tobacco. Coffee, vanilla and cocoa mix with licorice and cedar creating an intriguingly smooth smoke in the mouth. These pretty Coronas are best consumed after 3 to 4 years of aging.

The San Cristobal La Punta is a creamy and rich medium bodied Pyramid. Launched by Habanos in 1999, it is hand rolled using only tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region. It gets its name from one of the fortress of La Habana that used to defend the city during the Spanish Latin America Empire times. Despite its lack of fame, it is definitely a cigar that worth a try. Like other vitolas from the San Cristobal marca, La Punta cigar is pretty smooth, medium range in strength, overall very creamy and which develops a nice complexity of flavors along the whole smoke. There is plenty of leather, wood, barnyard, hay, nuts, toasty aromas, fruits notes, some chocolate, and some coffee. There is a delicious sweetness along the whole cigar too.
