The Cohíba Secretos Maduro 5 (Box of 25) are the top secret of the Maduro 5 series. They are considered the nirvana of the Cohíba cigar brand. Each roll is made from the finest Maduro leaves from the Vuelta Abajo district in Cuba. They are powerful cigars, loaded with pepper and earthy aromas with a smoke that lingers in the mouth. It is a full bodied smoke with a big heart for a cigar. It is like comparing a rich espresso with a simple filtered coffee. The upper leaves of the plants (called crowns) are picked later than normal to ensure that the tobacco is as rich and ripe as possible. Tobacco is fermented for a longer time to give more color and flavor to the leaf.

Havana Club Añejo 15 is a limited edition for passionate connoisseurs who know how to appreciate a rare and luxurious Cuban rum. It is made by mixing and aging an exquisite selection of rums and spirits. This aging, in oak barrels, gives the rum its complex and powerful flavors, releasing olfactory and gustatory nuances that give it a unique smoothness. It is a clear, bright and full-bodied liquid, enhanced by a mahogany color. The aromas of nuts, plums and raisins stand out with some notes of oak. In the mouth, an abundance of well integrated flavors of sweet fruit, chocolate, coffee and tobacco.

The Partagás Serie D No.5 was first introduced as a Habanos limited edition in 2008. Partagás have since made it a member of regular production. This Cuban cigar sports a Robusto vitola and is recognised as the smaller sibling to the Partagás Serie D No.4. The Trinidad Reyes is a smooth and complex Habano, a medium-bodied Petit Corona. Due to its short format and its smaller ring gauge, the Trinidad Reyes might feel harsher than other Trinidad vitolas, but it is definitely from the same brand as the flavors are typical Trinidad. A 2004 release.

The Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No.1 is a smooth Corona Gorda. It is a cigar of the next to perfect construction; the wrapper is smooth and slightly oily. It is smoking beautifully and the draw on this cigar is flawless. On top of that, the flavor profile of this stogie is incredible. Definitely a must-try for all the fans of Corona Gorda vitolas. . There is also lots of creamy espresso, and some mineral notes. It might not be the most complex cigar, but it nevertheless won’t let you indifferent. Some delicate touches of pepper also spice up the Epicure No.1, whereas in terms of strength, it never goes over a medium body. Very similar to a Partagas or a Romeo y Julieta in term of appearance and flavor profile. It also has a great potential for ageing.
